Texas member meet

Came across an old post from 2013 that several members were discussing about a possible meet. Do Texas members try to have a meet possibly once a year? I was curious since I have only been a member since August 2017.

I'd sure like to see someone put this together. One of these days, if I ever get my dad to chill, I've wanted to have an OK meet at his 160 acres of property where we can have a campout get together. Maybe someday.

Shoot, if y’all did this between Dallas and Houston, I’d go. Houston is five hours from me. A Sun Belt meet in a centralized location would be really cool.

We have Austin meets at the Round Rock Car Show on occasion. My adopted daughter does her best to organize it, she does a good job too, she got 22 squares there once.

That would be doable for me. Maybe someone could map out all Texas members and get a central location, there may be a lot show up.

Understandable. Would not be a short drive for many and some would not try to make the trip which I understand that too. With Texas being so big, makes it hard for most all to have a short drive.

Texas has a few meetups. One in Mexia and then another one called C10's in the park in Waxahachie. There's another one that just happened near Houston but I can't recall the name of it. I think its called Low Life... Not officially Chevy square official, but you will definitely find a strong Chevy presence there. I'm sure there are a couple other ones I am not aware of in other parts of the state, after all, it's a big state.

I went to C10s in the Park last year, first time had a blast. met a bunch of great guys. We need to do something like that, have a get together, in a get together.

There is another meetup that happens in Waco most weekends. I can not be sure of the location name but I think its a place called Sonny's garage or something similar. I posted on it the other day and am trying to find my post but i suffer greatly from CRS....
