I was wondering if the "Y" exhaust pipe from a 1985 C10 2wd will fit into a 1985 k5 blazer without any or little modification?
A little back history, I just recenty purchased a 85' K5, 350/th400, 4 inch suspension lift, where I am rebuilding the engine. I live in California (unfortunately) and who ever had th K5 Before me removed all the smog/exhaust stuff from it.. Fortunately, they did not cut any of the plugs from the harness so that is a major plus. For a state where smog is required, they sure do make it hard to buy replacement smog parts.
My intention is to make the K5 my daily driver and rebuild it to stock specs, or close to it. I have no exhaust for my K5 and I've seen "Y" pipes for sale on FB and Offer up, but usually they are for 2wd vehicles.
Looking to see if anyone here has done this or have knowledge if this this possible.
thanks in advance...
