Who sells it?

If the Dashboards that USA1 sells are anything like the quality of their door panels, that would be who I would recommend. Won't be cheap though. My plan was to have the original recovered in leather by a trim shop. Figured if I was going to spend up to $400 on a dash, I could probably get it in something that wouldn't just crack again for the same price or less.

I've been contemplating this very idea. I have an extra, cracked dash and was wondering what it would take to cover it in leather. I've heard the OE has a metal backing. Recover it once and be done with it. Might consider the same for the door panels and visors.

I was going to go through USA1 for the dash and door panels I need.

The dash is a metal substructure. I am wondering how the texture is compared to factory though.

I wish someone made the woodgrain dash and door inserts for 77-80.

I think USA1 has those too.

I just installed the Usa1 dash. Lots of fitting as usual. It’s metal backed. Texture is very close. If I was doing it again I would get original wrapped.

I have bought the usa1 for my 74, but it's sitting on the shelf waiting for restoration to start. It looks very good and is close to the original. The original dash is to bad for any restoration or wrapping.

Installed one from USA1 in my 84 in June. Fit was great. Only problem was that it arrived without the clips installed. we couldn't get the ones provided to fit so we just took the old ones out and reused them.

Takes about 225 bucks in Central Michigan. Of course, I had to call 53 places to get that price and find someone even willing to do it.

I'm in process of finishing the install on one from USA1 too. It looks good, the texture is nice, we did have to spend a few hours trimming to get the vents and other areas to fit properly.
