Where can I find a stock steering arm?

Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find a stock steering arm at? I have looked around the internet without finding anything. Right now the truck is lifted and has the 4" steering arm (the U-shaped arm) on it. I am putting back to stock and need a standard arm. Anyone have a clue where to find one?

Maybe it goes by a different name?

I would check craigslist in your area for someone parting one of these truck out.

I'd have to make sure, I might have one off an 80 K10. Should be the same for an 87.

He needs the steering arm for a FoBuhFo !!! The curved arm to the drag link that's normally replaced with a lift kit. But I'd imagine they'd have that too at any Discount Auto Parts store

What are you doing with the lift kit after you remove it?

HotRod - if you have a stock steering arm I may be interested - I think they were unchanged for all the years so an 80 model should fit.

Someone asked what I plan on doing with the lift - I plan on selling it (maybe on the sale area here) once I get the truck back to stock. I ordered new rear springs the other day and found a set of used fronts already. Just need a steering arm now.

In my garage. PO never upgraded the steering arm when he put on the 6" lift. Ive had a new 4" SA sitting in my garage for almost a month, just swapped them out today.

Its yours for shipping to Iowa if necessary.

Anyone have one of these laying around or have any idea where I can find one?

LMC and the other classic truck sites dont have them as a part you can buy. Car-Part.com doesn't have any option to search for "steering arm." Any ideas? I have new shocks and springs - just need the stock steering arm!

Do some searching in your areas for "chevy truck" or truck, or truck parts, etc you may get lucky and find one for $10-$20...

I was able to find one! A salvage yard had one truck that had one and I got it. Thanks to all!
