What would you do? Cab trim paint color

Just stripped the anodized coating off my rear cab trim and cab corners. What color combo should I go back to? The truck color is white.

i'd say OEM or black bow tie with same white as the paint job or visa versa.....white bow tie with black. Almost worth scanning and printing the colored portion in all variances and taping them on to see what you like.

Or maybe the pinstripes in yellow as well.

How did you remove the yellow? I have a set and the yellow is in rough shape and to redo it properly I think it would need to be stripped.

Yellow can of EASY OFF oven cleaner. The blue isn’t strong enough. The yellow takes everything off to bare aluminum.

Original colors always look the best… that golden yellow is timeless

if you've got one, have your wife do it with a paint brush if you don't have a steady hand. You'd think women would be good at stuff like that cuz of their nails lol.

I picked aluminum cuz I did not see the OEM option - oops.

I know it's more work, but like someone said the mustard yellow color is cool.

Ugh lol You guys leave me no option. It’s installed aluminum for now but will paint soon.

A buddy of mine gets good results painting emblems, by laying them flat, then filling them in with paint in a syringe.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I'd say OEM style is my favorite, but if you wanted to do something different, I like the idea of either white background and black bowtie or black background and white bowtie. Itd match your truck well.
I wouldn't leave it plain aluminum, looks like it's just faded like mine, haha.

I just white squares. But white white, not any off color yellowed white. Back in the 80's Dupont made Miracryle acrylic auto paint, They has this Diamond White that made you wear sunglasses. I painted my 78 Heavy Half with this awesome product. I like what a little blue does to white paint. Funny how that works.
