What is involved to switch from auto to manual

AUTO TO MANUAL I'm deciding the direction I was to take my 86 and just wondered how difficult/possible and what all would be involved to switch . Going kind of the shop truck, slightly above rat rod kind of thing. I already need new glass and interior panels. Honestly I need a new wiring...

I guess this is a good example of why it's ok to ask a question that may be simple? But I guess a bunch of folks in an e-lodge may be no better than Google, lol.

So maybe the real answer is "measure for a driveshaft when you get the dang trans installed, newb"
