Those are ancient Dick Cepek Fun Country tires. There is a modern iteration of them, but they don't make them in the real big sizes anymore.

Aired down, they are great in the snow.

From what I remember, the old Mickey Thompson Baja Belted tires were the same.

I wish they would being back some of the older tires.

I had a set of 15/36R16.5's on my '77 K5 back in the early 90's. They are based on an old Armstrong design.

Nice catch on the 2WD. I did not see that the first time I viewed.
Those steering knuckles and tiny wheel bearings are just SCREAMING for relief

Hah if you read the comments the dude's like "I don't care, I only ever drive it on the street to car shows, the 10 bolts are fine especially since it never sees mud". He said it still has 3.73s too, good thing it's a 4 speed, you're gonna need that granny low LOL

I thought the Armtrongs were called the TrueTrac, but I see yours are Norsemans.

I know when my friend bought his Scout II in the mid 80's and bought new tires, they were called Norsemans back then.
