Hello!

I have a 1976 Chevy K10 Scottsdale 350, automatic transmission. Can someone tell me what this 2 prong Plug is above the oil filter? It's the exact size one would plug into a wall outlet (though obviously not in this case lol)

That would be for an electric choke setup from a later vehicle. With no oil pressure no voltage to the choke coil, with oil pressure it lets voltage to the choke coil and lets it heat up and open the choke.

That way if you are KEOF (key on, engine off) it’s not wasting battery heating the choke.

Plug it into an extension cord. Report back.

Unless the part is bad, that would be unexciting. It needs to be plugged in AND engine running for a good a thorough report, lol.
