I have a 74 K20 with a th350 that ate my first/reverse clutch. I was wondering what you all have done in the past as far as tips and tricks, kits used, and what not to do. As of now I will be rebuilding the transmission myself unless I can find a reasonable replacement. Any way mostly curious what the best kit is for a non-performance, reliable, cost effective rebuild. It's also paired behind a 350 and has a np203 in the back. (Full time 4x4)

Check out my TH350 info thread for details...gist is BW or Raybestos clutches, steel module, all new bushings, new intermediate sprag, Sonnax HD intermediate outer sprag race, 4L60e center support w/BW low roller clutch, 97+ 4L60E low reverse tubular steels, Sonnax boost valve and spring kit.

You can dual feed the direct clutch if you want but its not necessary in non-performance applications.
