The little wifey had to work today...than had to go hang with her girlfriends...So I had the house all to myself. Got up did my morning PT, had breakfast with a couple of buddies. Got home and said to myself...."self it is far to nice of a day to be inside" I'm going to do something that I don't know how, or if it will turn out, the way it is in my mind. I want to Wrap my bumpers. So I bought some M3 vinyl wrap. So I need to prep the bumper. So that is what I did today...Actual got to work on one of my Squarebodies without being rushed, or bothered by anyone....This is far as I got today...had to let the bumper cool down...

So now the task will be blow it back apart, weld the bolts on the inside of the bumper, and grind the heads off the front. Pull off the brackets, sand blast them, and powder coat them.

Does anyone know were to get some cool hooks?

Wrapped up the fence around our house and got a little sketchy with a 16ft cattle gate. Thankfully it wasn’t a far drive. Got a load of lumber too, lots of heavy treated stuff and she pulled great. Definitely need to get a trailer!

Towed my newly aquired 100$ chevy lumina, LITERALLY driven by an old lady to and from church on sunday.

Imma replace the ps pump and fix the coolant leak and drive that shitbox till it quits.

150k on the clock, new tires.

Worked on the front lighting harness which also has wipers, horn and brake pressure. So for those that have dealt with the wire going to the proportionate valve how was it routed and why do I have two splices, connections. The wiring diagram shows one plug (highlighted) I have an extra as seen in the photo. Someone got smart and added a test area? Anyone know how this wire was routed and secured. the two wire tie things are in the photo.

Those are actually really good cars. If you go ahead and do the intake gaskets (the steel/rubber Fel-Pro ones) and oil pump drive o-ring (the high temp brown one, not standard black) you will have no trouble at all running that car to 250k or more.

Took out the pickup and went on a 4hr river bank journey.Out where I live, hit the river and just go.Looking for Jeep’s to punk out....or fords or anything else in my way.Sand, rocks, hills, and mud if you want it.It can be as easy as a bumpy road or truck parts scattered about.

I wish it was still the 80’s.I love the scene in No Country For Old Men when dude gets to the scene of the drug deal and you see all those 80’s 4x4 trucks.I love my “NEW” pickup, but to drive it offroad, nah.Me and my Chevy. That bitch makes me happy.

Soon as i get my noisey driveshaft carrier bearing replaced and help a buddy with his k5's th350, im gonna start playing with the lumina.

I'll keep those suggestions on note, first plan is to fix the 2 known problems, then get it legal and on the road, put the miles on that instead of blue (my burb)

Finally got a few hours and no rain. Had to replace a couple brakes on the trailer and then finished gutting the interior out of the truck.
Happy to say it’s as clean as I hoped!
I will sand and shoot a fresh coat of paint on both side floor pans. Little bit of crustys and surface rust on them.
Rocker panel to floor seams under the door gasket look cherry too.
Almost hate to cover it back up with sound mat and carpet!
Back in the garage before the rain and 1 step closer to paint.

@Vbb199 and @bucket , when my Bride's Mom passed we gave her 96 Lumina to the oldest Grandaughter(Kaitlyn) to drive, she was a Jr in high school. When she graduated and went to college, her little sister got it and drove the Heck out of it. Started out with about 65-70k on it, now it has 130K +. A year ago we did the intake and the oil pump o-ring, still runs very good. Tony (son) just got Macie(#2 g-daughter) a 2019 Trax to go to school in this fall and he is gonna drive the Lumina till it drops!
