Me and a friend were shooting **** the other night over some beer, and i said to him, "would you be interested in some subs and amps?"
He said, sure, ive been wanting to run a setup in my car.

On a set of 12's, 15's, 10's, two 1000w amps and one 1500w amp with a 4 and 8 farad capacitor, i asked him to make me a "lowball offer" .

He replied, 500 ok with you? I said sure. I spent far more on all my stuff, but i need it out of the way.

Last light he came and paid me, got his dough out, and handed me an extra two grants :)

An early stimulus check!!! Lol

My point in this little story? I'll be buying new balljoints, control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, idler arm, pitman arm, tie rods, coils, and the highly recommended bilstein shocks. Was also wondering if i should get the little u bolts that is part of the upper control arm? Thoughts?

Anyone have the shock length needed for my suburban on hand ? 2wd, 1/2 ton, with 3/4 rear springs.

****anddddd*****

I'll be doing the 4:10 regear starting tomorrow.

Picked up a 73 c20 service bed truck over the summer, and finally got a chance to rewore the dash n engine harness , new ignition switch, ditched the regulator for a 3 wire alternator, rewired all the starter wiring...just needed a lil gas in the carb and she fired right up after 20 something years of sittin...Altho it sounds like a sack of hammers is bouncing around the oil n trans pan. Noticed the PO had heavy duty magnets on the trans pan, oil pan, and oil filter...picking up a new drive train for it next week tho!
