Old school. The Amish by me have hydraulic brakes. I suppose it’s because I don’t live in the backwards-ass hill country of Pennsylvania.
maybe it's considered mechanical over hydraulic, if they wrap the reigns around the horses balls?

We got horses that ain't been rode a lot for people that don't ride a lot.
We got horses that've been rode a lot for people that ride a lot.
And we got horses that ain't been ridden for people that ain't never rode.

Lol!

I have an 18yo Appy gelding for green riders. He’s self driving—way before Tesla and never caused an accident.

Poor guy has nyctalopia, though.

New transfer case shifter boot, new park brake pedal pad to replace the original that is mia for 20+ years, new throwout bearing and transmission mounts, and a new fuel filter to replace the one that got wet. Plus a can of seafoam to take care of the remaining water in the gas.

Man that's terrible. How screwed up is the neighbor's car?

Its pretty crunched, the trunk is pushed in on the left side about 6 inches I'd say. Haven't really got to look at it besides from a distance.

Sorry to see that. Damn shame.

It is a shame, but luckily it is just metal, plastic, and fixable. Most importantly nobody was hurt and there is no critical damage to anything like the frame or the rear end, just cosmetic.

Better question, how much are you going to extort from the fossil for the repair?
I actually laughed out loud at that one, that cheered me up some. :)
