What glass setting tape for vent window? (No LMC)

I’m ready to replace the seals on my vents. However, I need some glass setting tape. I ordered it from LMC with some other random things I needed but now that box is lost in transit to me and LMC keeps dragging their feet to send a replacement.

Has anyone used other tape? If so, what size do I need? Hoping to pick some up from a parts store or Amazon so I can get started soon.

When I do my vent windows I use windscreen adhesive. Fill the frame with the adhesive and insert the glass. Take care that it's nicely centered. Let it dry for at least 3 days.
Remove the adhesive excess with a scalpel or razor blade. Done. It's cheap and 100% leak proof.

1/16” is what I used 73-80 style vent window. Its a thicker glass.

I just rebuilt both of my vent windows in my 85’ this past winter. Ordered the original type butyl tape from Restoration Specialties. They shipped promptly via priority mail and I got it within a few days. 1/16” worked best for me. Took a LOT of patience and a couple attempts to get it right.

I have used two-sided adhesive tape designed for attaching side trim. Use lots of Windex on both sides to keep things slippery so you can maneuver the tape and glass into place.
