I’m gonna be welding mine closed on my k10. Don’t know what else to do with it.

Most folks leave it.

The only seam that was metal finished at the factory was the corresponding seam at the top of the A pillar, which was brazed and then ground down in the body shop.

I thought about filling it but left it. That was just me being cheap since I wasn't doing the body work myself. If I could do body work I would have welded it up and smoothed it out along with the one at the bottom of the cab.

Where’s the one at the bottom? Rocker to cab corner?

Yes, runs vertical with the door gap. Not as noticeable because it does follow a gap but bugs me.
