What color?

Looking at the sticker under the hood of my ‘84 C10 it says it came with a painted rear bumper. Any idea what color it was according to the code? My dad painted it white while I was gone. I know it was a dirty gray before he painted it but I didn’t know if the original color wore off or what.

And due to what is going on in the world today I assume Indian Bronze is no longer available!

First off. That is a beautiful truck. Same color mine should be. Don’t know what went wrong with the Indian bronze but the sun loved to eat it up. What is left of my original paint on the interior is an awesome color.

Painted bumpers in the round eyes usually meant white. Painted bumpers in the square eyes usually meant argent silver. Same color as the rally wheels.

My 85 bumper is original / untouched. Looks like a dull gray (seen these like this in yards too).

Nope. It's considered a GMT800 bumper.

That's specific to an '88-'98 stepside. They are actually hard to find, or at least they were. Maybe they are repopped now. The cutouts on top is what makes the difference.

It was attached to a square with intention of putting a GMT-400 bed with a GMT-800 bumper. weird

Well, it has a license plate with expiration 2000. And the stepside bed it came out of the bed of was from GMT400. nice.

Yeah, guessing that is a typo. The 800 had a much larger license plate cove with more plastic.

What is your trucks color code? Does that happen to be Indian bronze metallic over sand?
