Write a letter to Kia and tell them your story maybe they will give you a new one.
Nawwww, I'll wreck it just 1 more time. Next time I'm taking the full settlement and they can have the bitch cuz then I'll know it's cursed and doomed. I have a feeling it's cuz it's a gray car and doesn't have daytime running lights so on an overcast day it kind of blends in with the scenery and it's not seen. Both days were overcast and gray gloomy skies.

Well the Toyota is on the frame rack and parts ordered. Big news for me is I finally got my 95 Impala SS back on the ground. Put it on jack stands in July or August last year for some brake work. Incorrect parts caused some early delays and then the holidays and then I decided to make my own brake bleeder (fail). With all the parts assembled, a beautiful day in western Kentucky and the twins asleep, I grabbed the wife to handle the brake pedal and got the system bled the old fashion way. Went faster and better than I expected. I bought some new Hankook V12’sand had them mounted last fall too so they were ready to bolt on and take it for a test drive which went well.

Just can’t put too many miles on until I do new ball joints, tie rod ends and idler arm. Alignment was off and cut the inside of the Old right front before I caught it and put on jack stands for the brake work. Probably need to do a arm bushings too after 207,000 miles. After 23 years, I still enjoy driving the big girl as much as anything else I own.

You get all that done to the 95 SS, it'll ride like a dream again. Those care ride like the old boat cars did way back when. Like driving on a cloud.

Call me a little slow, not following your logic.

I saw the picture and thought "that's prolly totaled."
Curiosity killed my cat so I started skimming after I saw how long the thread is to find answers.
I saw it's a 2015 toyota.
Yep. Totaled = not worth fixing.
Whatever.
Tl;dr.

Good luck with it! :happy107:

I'm sure you've heard the acronym for Pontiac then...

Lol, I'm sure there's a lot of folks here that know it. But those that don't, aren't going to find out here

Ok thanks, I will have it repaired and back on the road in about 2 weeks for less than half the insurance estimate with all new Toyota or certified replacement aftermarket parts. Plus, almost two years of car payments erased. Wife loves the car and a new 18 model just like it is $37,000. Hate that it got wrecked, but I predict we’ll get another 10 years of service out of it.
