I am looking at a k5 frame with a s 10 body . dana 60's front and rear. it has a small block 355 with dart heads, with roller rockers. locked rear 4.10 gears. comes with a locker but he dont know if it will fit.new 38.5 bogger tires. I have been going back and forth with the kid He hasnt had it long and realy doesnt know what he has. if i get this thing we are going racing this summer. I was looking at getting a rear set if american farmer ag tires . for class 5 on the 250 fogger and bottle. I was going to build one but for all the parts here its a great start for the price.

Every S10 setup like that I've seen OWNS the track but not on AGs. What I've seen were wide boggers floating as high up as you can keep it on the slop. GET IT! Lucky dog! You may have to cage it and put 5-point harness(es) in it. Should be a very fast setup you may want to find a place to do holeshot practice with her (AND you) till you get used to how it's going to act, especially on NOS. You would want to run AGs if it is a deep wet mud bog. But even still I think the wider paddles will do much better if you can get your tire speed up fast right off the line.

Looks like a good buy. X2 on keeping boggers on it over the Ag's. I would also trade the zoomy pipes in for some truck pull headers.

Here's a boggers vs AGs comparison if you can call it that, 1st truck was the 1st to break ground on it, 2nd truck pretty much cleaned out what was left, and 3rd truck made it look easy lol...

Now, here's a video from a couple years ago, mud bog competition with a deep bog and only 2 trucks made it through. One was a giant, ugly home made thing that took 3 minutes to make it through, and the other was an S10 on boggers that looked like it just floated across the top. He makes his run at about the 1:55 minute mark of the video...

I guess it really depends on the pit. If you guys have more dark rich mud AGs might be better. Jackson county red clay though, it can either go good or go bad you just never know.
