Change of plans. Im getting my '88 K1500 back from my uncle this weekend. deal is,the engine is blown. so,seeing as i already have a good vortec on the stand,i figured id just use it. What will i have to do to make the TBI and such bolt onto a vortec 350 long block? I want to use the vortec heads.
do i need to tune the computer? i stumbled over some kinda egr problem that was brought up in other threads.....but the cat is already cut off this thing and i dont have ANY inspection...so,depending on what is easier, decides what happens with the egr. what should i do there?
what intake do i have to use?(that kinda goes with the egr thing,i think)
What is a good TBI friendly roller cam? Im up for using the stock vortec roller,if its easier.
if there is anything else, please inform me.
ive read so many threads over a a bunch of different places to try to keep asking a question that im sure yall have already answered. but, they were never quite the same as what i need.
