Hey just hoping to tap a few greater minds here:

Just installed a 6 inch lift in my 87 2500, with no issue EXCEPT for the fact that my rear end vibrates like a bastard. I thought it would be the new 37 inch tires i have but I balanced them and its still there. Maybe even worse actually. Also quick side note I recently replaced my wheel seal and it is leaking again due to this. As of now the left side seems to be what is vibrating regardless of which tire I run there.

Thanks

could it maybe be a warped rotor on the front left? Though if it was a problem with the front id think it would be screwing with my steering. Just a thought since we hammered the piss out of the steering arm and heated it up as well

And John, My pinion is actually pretty square to the drive shaft so unfortunately probably not the issue

Is it a vibration or a shake? At what speeds?

Your leaking seal is probably another issue. Like a groove in the axle or a worn bearing with slop in it.

It's a shake. Basically the truck is going up and down as I drive. I feel like I'm on a miniature bucking bronco.

At what speeds ? Your shake sounds pretty bad , maybe you should have a friend watch you drive by and maybe he will be able to see something. I have had vibrations after lift's but what you have going on sounds different. Do you have a 208 case ? if so you should drop that as well. Your rear pinion should not be rolled up in line with your drive shaft either , (can cause vibration's). Anyway vibration's you can chase out but what you are saying sounds like broken part's to me. You better get a jack and go to all four corner's and see if there is any movement anywhere and so on , (check everything). You say you can't feel anything in the steering ?

Its a bent rim. Probably also why the tire took 19 ounces to balance lol
