I just bought an 86 K5 Blazer with a crate 350 that was installed in 2021. It was installed with headers, so the smog pump, canister, etc., was all deleted.
I found some vacuum lines missing.
1.The tip in vac switch
2. The TCC switch (which I think was originally connected to the canister)
3. The Vacuum ball to the right of the brake booster.
So, can all 3 of these be T'd to manifold vacuum?
Does the TCC need a delay valve as shown when connected to the canister?
Also, what is the red metal vacuum looking canister to the left of the brake booster? And where did that broken vacuum line go?

Thanks!!

I'm not sure about others. But, I believe the red canister was for cruise control. The front half of that should be rubber.. There is an adjustable rod that goes from that clip on the front to the carburetor linkage.

The converter lock up switch should get vacuum from thermal vacuum switch. (TVS) This is so the converter will not lock when the engine is stone cold. Cold engine low throttle, low MPH, if the converter locks may cause the engine to bog a little. Still best to have vacuum to the Trans conv. vac sw. with out the TVS, then to not have it at all. Never having lockup is not good for the transmission.

The big brake booster hose should be connected to the big port on the bottom back of carburetor. The one to trans should be manifold vacuum port usually behind carburetor on manifold. The black ball is cruise control. Idk about the other Grey cannister.

What transmission is in the truck. If it's not a 700 then most of the vacuum sensers going to the transmission can be remover or capped.

The red cannister is for cruise and the linkage is missing anyways,so ignore. You've been answered about the convertor switch. The other component on the firewall is for tip in. Look at your distributor does it still have a wire harness plugged into it that goes into the firewall and disappears behind the glove box? If so your esc is still hooked up the tip in switch needs to be connected to manifold vacuum. The hose in your left hand, needs to be connected to your right hand,or you need to give us a little better idea as to where it comes from a hose in mid air could be just about anything.
