Use or not to use Spray can clear coat

Just wanna get ya'lls take on this..

I just painted the front clip of my 84 c10 with SEM Factory Black paint. It has a semi gloss finish.

Just want to protect it a bit more.

was thinking of using Dupli Color protective clear coat finish..

What do ya'll think.

I will post pic of it later today.

i would prefer not to spray anything else over the paint. Maybe use the clear vinyl instead

I'd spray it... just make sure the clear has the same finish as the paint. Semi gloss
