Verify that you have grounds, verify they are tight, make sure they are good clean connections. A wire brush/wire wheel works well cleaning connection points. A little dielectric grease keeps them from oxidizing for longer periods of time.
If all grounds are good I would look at the signal flasher next.

Did it just happen, or was it there when you bought the truck?
It’s almost always a broken ground wire, and you have to think of recent work on the truck (where you knocked a wire loose) to narrow down the choices.
