So a few that have been watching may have seen I had issues with a seal in the 4l30e I rebuilt. It blew from the inside out.
I can't find another one, seems to be very obscure
Along the seal face I see the numbers and letters
37117
HTC5Y
47.6 70
6.7 8.1
NOK
When I visit transTec, they have 2 numbers for it.
Under "metal clad seals"
Torque converter=
Legacy number= B37117
TransTec number = 0049365166
Ref number= 96015187
The only reason I'm troubling the kind individual that helps for information is, Im desperately searching around the web for a alternate number for a seal I can get at a local parts store, instead of waiting 1 week, or even longer for it to come from eBay, or wherever.
ANY help would be appreciated guys!
Normally I don't ask stupid questions like this because I'm capable of more than just "4L30E torque converter seal"
The issue I'm having is, every parts store I search, it's not the same seal, or they just don't have it
Take note of the pic I've attached.
This Is a torque converter seal for a GM 4L30E, from a 1999 Honda passport EX.
Thanks again!
