transfer tank, gas vs. diesel

Hey guys, I was thinking about getting a gasoline transfer tank for my truck. I can find some really good deals on C-list, but they're all for diesels. Does anyone the difference between a gasoline and a diesel transfer tank? Seems to me I could get a diesel one and just put gas in it. The major manufacturers do separate the two though.

as long as you flush it out, and the pump picks up the gas, a tramsfer tank is a transfer tank. Just MAKE SURE to flush it out.
