I finally discovered perhaps both the cause of my mysterious disappearing transmission fluid AND the reason my t-case leaks!
I went to check the case fluid level (knowing it leaks) both to my surprise AND dismay it was VERY overfilled and I had a face full of Dex. :(
Not cool.

So....wtf? They share fluid? No. Surely not. Why would I have a dipstick AND a fill plug?

:(

Better yet, anyone know how to fix this? What is the best way you all know of?

Some ******** about a one-way seal? Gtfo. That don't sound like something MY General would do!
Please tell me what you know about this.

It means the t-case needs dropped to fix it. A good time to reseal the whole thing.

O'Reilly's is asking me if it's single or dual lip?

I said yes. Lol.

What that means? Are they talking about the seal?

So I can't know until I get it apart? Hrm.

You need a dual lip seal, or two small singles back to back.
