I have a 2011 Chevy express van. Does anyone know how to turn the traction control off?

Not sure on the van but on my 07 burb there's a button that is located in the same center section as the radio towards the bottom. It's next to the pedal adjustment. The picture on it should be squiggly tire marks with a diagonal line through it....

Dude, you gotta get that figured out. No burnouts with traction control. You could always unplug your ABS wheel sensors, that should do it. Jus Kiddin, Jus Kiddin. Don't do that.
All my TC controlled vehicles had a TC kill switch. You don't see one on your dash??? Maybe it can be disabled in your DIC??? I dunno. Latest new vechicle I had as an 06 then since the divorce in 04, funds haven't been the same, so I went back to building squares and away from the new technology. Good Luck.

It has that button but when you push it it turns the traction control off until you get on the gas hard then the traction control comes right back on. The button is useless.

Seemed a girl I was dating for awhile, she had an 05 Grand Prix GXP with the 5.3 aluminum V8 FWD. I took it to the track, shut the TC off, and it did that same thing. It still cut the power down at take off if the wheels were going to spin, so I couldn't even warm the tires. Made for a real crappy time.

:hmm: mine doesn't turn itself back on  with that said the torque management BS won't allow me to spin the tires much anyway before it kicks in so it doesn't matter. Once I put a tune on it, though, it's game on :rocking:

My 2010 Camaro has the switch right on the console, and stays off.

Sure do. I think it's a wheel sensor possibly from running larger wheels and tires.

I couldnt find anything on a on/off switch for traction control. Gm might have fixed where you cant shut it off anymore and it stays on all the time.

I have a feeling O77 is right about this. The traction control can be off, but the Torque Management takes over. There is no shut off switch for Torque Management. That Grand Prix I was talking about, acted that way. Even with trac control off, it didn't come back on, but still couldn't do a burn out to heat the tires.
