I need to replace my Tie Rods. I have the 7/8", want to upgrade to 1". My question is does anyone make the long Tie Rod with out the steering stabilizer mount? Lets be clear I want solid bar, I don't want the hole on the one end. Do I need to source some custom 4x4 company, or get some DOM tubing?

ORD maybe? I don't have any of their stuff but it seems to be popular. I was going to suggest Synergy Mfg but I didn't see any square stuff in their line up, I have the Synergy stuff on my jeep and it takes a beating.

If DOM is acceptable Off Road Design and Diy4x both offer tie rod assemblies.

I don’t know of anyone that offers a upgraded tie rod that’s solid.

The more I think about it, I might just keep the one that's in it and just replace the tie rods. It's not like this Blazer is going to see any hard core 4x4ing. Dirt road, maybe a little flexing.

I used ES2234R and ES2233L TREs, 7/8-18 HEX TIE ROD END TUBE INSERT left and right threads, and 1.5" OD / 1" ID DOM .250 wall. I also used the ORD high steering arms that mount on the top of the knuckle. You will need to enlarge the taper hole to fit the 1T TREs.

NOTE: you will need a 2wd steering gear for this IIRC.
