Stopped by the gas station today after work. When I cracked the fuel cap there was a loud hissing noise and I could feel the pressure escaping from the fuel cap. I was actually afraid to remove the cap because the pressure felt like it would launch the cap from my hand. I could not believe this went on for a good 30-45 seconds! I looked at the new tank underneath and could tell it had expanded to it's max.
Now keep in mind the temp was 115! Yes it was hotter than H**L!
With the ProFlo EFI it didn't miss a beat. However, it's obvious my "vented" cap means vented to allow air in, not out.
