Hey all; forgive my ignorance, but I have a technical question:
I'm acquiring an '89 (I think) squarebody, it's missing the grill and some and I already have a '79/'80 Sierra Classic that I wanted to strip for spare parts; I was wondering if the front clip is interchangeable at all, and if the body lines would match up at all. I'd like to use the body panels I already have (and stylistically, like better) if possible, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Someone more knowledgeable than me will chime in too but I’m 99% sure if you swap everything including core support it will work.
May be some intricacies though.

That's my thinking as well seeing as the cabs are identical as far as I can tell.
