Steering wheel installation

I'm currently restoring a 1974 K10 and want to put a later model steering wheel in it. I seem to remember reading somewhere a while back that you need to install a wire pigtail to somehow to make it work. Anybody ever done this, and what does it involve. Thx a lot for any help.

You must be registered for see images attach


remove the spring loaded contact replace with the spring loaded wire. total time to instal 2 seconds.
