I bought a 1-ton crossover left side steering knuckle for my 79 K20 It turned out to be different in the tie rod taper (made to install top down)
The kit included a tapered insert to flip it over, but the new knuckle seems slightly different it's a Dana 44 / GM 10 bolt Kit It looks like the new one is about a 1/2 higher at the tie rod than the existing one
Does anyone know if these 1-ton kits will work on a 3/4-ton differential

Yeah a k30 should always have a Dana 60 which has no interchangeability with a 44/10 bolt. Maybe tie rods.
