Steering Column Swap

Will a 1984 steering column with tilt and cruise work in a 1983 steering column without tilt and and without cruise, don't need cruise. I have a 1983 with dimmers on floor

Yes, you dont have to use the column mounted dimmer switch or cruise. Ignition switch, neutral safety switch and turn signal switch is the same.

It will work as is but if you dont like the way it looks just change out the lock housing, turn signal switch and turn signal switch lever. Maybe $50.00 in new parts should do it.
