Steering Column Repair after ignition has been punched out

First time I’ve ever posted on a thread. I have a 1979 K10 and it was stolen. It looks like they took a hammer to the plastic around the ignition. I’ve been searching for hours to see if the is a replacement or if I need to replace the entire steering column. It is a fixed steering column with the turn signal lever.

Can’t help with your question but I sincerely hope you were or will be able to take a hammer to the hard portion around their brains…in similar fashion…

I believe he mentions vehicles that are stolen and what/how to replace. It's a video by someone, that I think, is going through tech school or something of that nature so it's not the best. But very informative, and I'm glad they did it because I learned a lot watching it. Kudo's to them.

I really wish. It’s taken years of slow work to get back to the shape it was in before. This, along with the instrument cluster are really the last things.
