Someone should shoot this idea to Iman since he's looking for a job! :) I wonder how many people would pay a complete stranger to help them move or transport their stuff from the hardware store to their house?

Not a bad idea. Plus a CL ad with a rate too. Good way to make some cashola, tax free. :handshake:

You know fella's... we may be on to somethng big here.... :grd:

20 bucks a pop... depending on in town moves and such.... think about it, Home Depot has that rent-a-truck deal... (at least the one here does), and i think it's 19.95 a day or something.. but still the worst MPG on a square is what.. 8-10 mpg city... just go slow... make some extra cash

20 bucks for peace of mind, and one less headache for a feller who doesn't have a truck... and doesn't like all that rent-a-truck paperwork... is a pretty cheap fix...

I went to high school with a guy whose dad started a business a long time ago where he basically helped people get their new appliances home from the store. He's now a millionaire.

The idea is great, all the college kids here drive cars. Since moving here I've helped my buddy move his stuff twice.

We could call the company 'GMSB and a truck' :) the phone number will be 555-GMSB. Said truck would have to be a square, of course. Most likely a K20 would suffice. You never know how heavy the load might be. Who wants to donate a solid K20 to this GMSB endeavor??

:D if you could build up a client base via word of mouth it actually could end up being very profitable with almost no overhead. Just depends on if people are willing to pay and you'd have to require cash up front for the job(s)

CA DUDE, your truck is just the overloads out? I like that stance.
