Hey everyone.

I’m getting deeper into my ‘85 C10, doing a general cleanup and repaint.

I have the bed off. And I noticed something today. The truck has lowering brackets on with the HD springs. But, it looks like one side is in the upper position of the lowering bracket, and the other side is in the lower position.

Can anyone explain why the prior owner would have set up the springs this way? Makes no sense to me. Could it be that the driver side was sagging?

Thanks.

The driver's side always sags. I think they starting sagging on day 2 so I think you are onto something with the previous owner trying to correct that.
