speedo cable ( question # 432 )

Im looking to replace my short speedo cable, I have a short bed 4X4 Auto

I see one cable 82 inches and another 100 inches

anyone know what size I need ?

This probably isn't what you want to hear but...measuring it will be the best way to make sure you get the right one.

Thanks. I’ll try that. Seems kinda hard to get a good measurement. Maybe I’ll use a power cord as a mock up

Just a stab in the dark. The 4x4 is probably the longer one. The speedo cable attaches to the transfer case, not the transmission like a 2WD.

On my k20 long bed with the np208 case I ended up using the 100 inch and I would not want any shorter.

Mine should be the same length as yours since the distance between the t-case and dash doesent really change.

Measuring is always good just to be sure, but I'd bet your going to get the 100 inch.
