I am looking to put sound deadener mat down on the floor of my cab. I plan on cleaning up the footwell areas and painting with POR, question is can you apply the sound deadener to POR?
I assume it would adhear the same as any painted surface,,,,,anyone done this before ?

Yep, you sure can. However, POR-15 needs more than just a clean surface for it to adhere. Ideally, you apply it to a surface that has had a quick once-over with a 36 Grit grinder. If you get a surface that the POR will bond to, then you can stick the sound deadening to it with no worries.

Why POR? Is Rustoleum too inexpensive for you?
