SOLD $500 6.2 Burb in Woodstock, VA Buy it, or it's being scrapped.

Anyone in the Woodstock, VA area want to buy a Burb? It's a 6.2 Burban with a bad trans. They guy wants $500 for it pretty quick or it's going to be scrapped. BTW, he's geting pissed with all the low ball offers. He first said it was being scrapped today, then he got talked out of scrapping it to sell it. Then all the low ball offers are coming. I'm sure he can get $550ish scrapping it, prolly more being a 6.2 and heavier.

I could possibly have some free time at some point to bring it here as-is, but I'd have to use the shop's truck and 30 foot trailer. It would probably be ok but if anything broke it would be on me.

There's no link. I found the guy on FB. He posted a pic of it and said it was going to the scrapper Saturday. He got talked into selling it instead. As of last night, he still had it but was pist off cuz after everyone talked him into selling it, then he's getting all these $200 and $300 offers when he knows he can get close to $600 over the scale, but he said, $500 he'd let it go to a new home.

This guy still hasn't sold this. He's getting offers for $350. He's standing firm on $500 or he'll scrap and prolly get $600 for it over the scale. Not even sure what condition the interior is in, or how bad the rust is if any, but it does have a running 6.2 in it. Only reason it got parked sometime ago was cause the trans went out. Surely someone in the VA or West VA area could look at it.

You guys better buy it or I'm going to tell Dave about it and if he get's a square, I'm going to invite him back and make him a Moderator.

That's was I was thinking, with barn doors and some ramps, he can wheel a rider mower in the back of it. Dave would make a good addition to the staff here. So whose buying it before I send Dave a message???

hahaha, Yup, so demanding !!! I have been doing some mega recruiting lately though. I was really wanting to hit 5000 registered members by 12/31/13. We might still do it. Only 16 away now.

BTW, me and another guy have talked this guy into keeping his Dad's Burb, not scrap it and just put a trans in it.
