Ok so I was thinking on my front spline joint on front driveshaft would it be able to put a shock boot on there to keep unwanted mud/sand/ect out of it with out it bothering the driveshaft?

I don't know how you would slide the boot over the yoke?

The finer spline will actually be harder to shear, due to more surface area.

As for the shock boot, the slip shaft has seals inside it to keep dirt and debris out. The shock boot idea will just trap more crap inside it, which will prematurely wear the seals ABS eventually the shaft.
