Thank you for the video basically I should be good then I’m not to worried about it I live in an ag area people drive tractors on the side of the highway and the chp are okay with it

driving tractors on the side of the road is legal. messing with the VIN plate is NOT legal. highdesertranger

You want to be careful to find out how to go about it legally.

The CHP can attach a new VIN plate to the door post and it will be perfectly legal that way. Either that or just leave the painted original one alone and call it good.
