I have an 84 pickup, currently has a 81-87 style front bumper and a fiberglass rollpan. I have a set of 73-80 bumpers laying around, I was wondering if anyone has ever put the 73-80 bumpers on an 81-87. I haven't been able to find any pictures of it and was wondering how it looks.
The rear bumper is a sport bumper/blazer bumper (not a step bumper) so I am wondering what kind of brackets I'll need to mount it in the rear, seeing as the truck doesn't have any brackets at all.
As for the front bumper, I'm wondering if my 81-87 brackets will work or if I'll need 73-80 front bumper brackets. I know the frame horns are different and I have heard of people having to trim the brackets putting an 81-87 bumper on a 73-80 truck, but have never heard of the opposite.
