I figured I'd probably go up to a local place called City Spring here in OKC and have them make me a set, but if anyone has some used ones cheap, lemme know.

I'm installing 3/4 ton C6P rear 56in springs and 14b Full Float rear axle in my K10. Also using 2.5in lift blocks so the rear should sit pretty level with the 4in front lift springs. This will require me to use longer U bolts to install the blocks.

They are cheap at the spring shop. I don't even bother to mail order anymore.

Yep, Prolly what I'll end up doing. Thanks for the confirmation and reminder. I need to give them a call and get them in the works. Pretty sure I can take one of my current U bolts down there and they'll make me a set while I wait.

The local spring shop here will make them for about $15 a pair and the 4x4 shop wants about $60 for 4....Rediculous.

I was looking on line last night and realized that the u bolts sold by the 4x4 shops are grade 5. I always thought they were grade 8.

Is there such a thing as grade 8 u bolts ? Or have I just been confused all these years ?

Not a good idea to reuse u bolts, as they do stretch.

Yeah, that's why I've kinda decided to have some made at the local City Spring. I have reused them in the past for street stockers but I plan to be a bit aggressive with this project.
