Why not just buy the one out of LMCs catalog? Also, this question hasn't received much attention because its in the wrong section. Maybe a mod can move it for you. But anywho......outside of a parts catalog you can check your local junkyards. My Suburban has rear air & I came across one at the junkyard that had most of the AC components still under the hood & in the back.

The one you got was short?
The line can free form to make up some length. I had to do that when replacing the condenser on my suburban. Line was almost 1 inch short but pulled out by hand with no problems.

did not know there could be that much of a difference. It should be able to spread to fit length wise, but would not sit on the inner fender. Do you have pictures under the hood? Just trying to understand what makes the set up under the hood on your suburban different.
