I expended much thought as to how best to install new decking in my short which I had removed for painting.
I should have thought more....
I figured that the frame holes and slots would allow proper mounting of the bed, even if it was out of square a tad.
I was wrong......
I could probably get all 8 bolts in, but the bed front is not parallel with the back of the cab....out a good 1/2" side to side.
So, now I gotta loosen up all the carriage deck bolts and the bed cross brace to bed bolts and shift it to line up squarely........
then hope the bolt holes in the wood are in the right places............yeah, right...what are the chances of THAT happening ??
