I’ve got a pretty much bone stock 76 k20 suburban with the 400 engine. The radiator lip was broken so it won’t seal properly with a cap. Coolant was totally rusty when I bought it and the inside of the radiator is super rusty as well. The replacement size from Lmc is much smaller than the current radiator that is in it.

Current one is almost 3” wide and the replacement is listed as 1.5” wide. I’m guessing this truck has overheating problems in the past as there was no TStat installed in it.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good replacement radiator?

Any suggestions? Truck is running pretty hot with coolant coming out of the cap after driving for 10mins or so in traffic.
