Quadrajet help!

Hey guys I have a 76 c20 454/400 and I have the 4mv quadrajet on it. I am missing the secondary linkage on it. I can't seem to find anyone that sells just linkage so I would have to go a local shop and buy a whole carb for $50. I didn't no if anyone had one they would sell or give to me for cheep? I would think you could just send it in a envelope, but maybe not. It would help out a lot lol, I don't want to pay $50 for a coat hanger lol.

Q-jet cores often go for $20 or less on CL. Have you looked there? If you don't see any that would work you could do a WTB post.

What's wtb? And I checked craigslist and people want around a 100.

Yeah $100 is pretty high for a core, I would ignore those! But there are people who have stacks of them laying around and may be interested in getting rid of them for little $$. I just got the exact intake manifold I was looking for at the price I wanted by doing a want to buy post on CL

i have the 4mv which if im correct that's the one with the divorced choke and the strait fuel inlet for fuel line, if that makes since. i need the linkage that goes from the vacuum choke pull-off to the secondary's

I will take a look tonight and see what I may have. I'm up in the GWN so it would take awhile to get to you...

Can you take a picture of that side of the carb? I have various linkages and the link that 350runner posted is a good resource.

It looks just like that one, thanks I couldn't seem to find a good pic of one.

Good deal Justin. So if the upper rod is what you need, from vacuum break to the secondary air valves, just go to the link and that's what you need. They usually ship quick too.

Have you ordered from them? It's 6.50 for shipping! I thought that was rediculas but if that is the only way I can get one I'm going to do it I guess.
