Before changing my fuel switching valve, I tried and experiment. Whenever I switched tanks on the "fly" the truck wanted to die. If I switched back it would be fine. Just today before going through the replacement process, new part in hand, I switched tanks while the ignition was off, then started. It worked fine. So there you have it. Parts on the shelf till it totally dies. Thought I'd share.

That's good info, thanks Ron! I just finished installing a Painless harness and converted from my old one wire valve to the 80's motorized valve you have. My old valve would switch on the fly with no problem. I will have to see if my new valve and switch do what you described.
