Hi, my 85' K10 standard cab came equipped with manual locks and windows. I'm converting to power everything, I have the donor doors but do not have a donor harness. Is there a company that makes the interior wiring harness for both locks and windows or is it best to just try to find a donor.

Also, what type of connectors do they use for the power windows in-between the cab and door? Maybe I can make my own.

Lastly, what connector is used to connect the rear wiring harness for the tail lights to the "cable" that runs on the frame to the cab. I put a new rear wiring harness in just need to connect it to the cable. Someone butchered mine for a trailer.

Thanks!

Good luck on the power window harness. I searched e-bay for a couple years and couldn't find anyone reproducing it. Finally just cut off the connectors I had and ran new wire straight to the switches and relays. I can help you with the connector, possibly. Does the 85 have the same round rubber connector with 4 flat pins like the 70's trucks? If so, I have several. Where in IL are you? If I'm in the area, I'll just give you one

Yeah I think im just going to make it. Bought some wire loom and I work as an electrician so wire ain’t a problem. I put 2 pictures of what I have on my phone already down below. What about the lock connectors? Im about 30 mins south of Rockford. Thanks

That was the decision I came to - found new switch and motor plug ends, then made my own harnesses with relays and better wire. So much better than the original wiring.

Looks like your 85 connectors are different from what I have.
