My truck is an 82 C10 with manual brakes (JB1). I would like to convert it to JB3 power brakes using a stock-type 1.25" master cylinder and booster.

If you have done this, please let me know which parts you used.
Is the pedal linkage different? How about the proportioning valve?

Would a rebuilt system like this bolt right in?

I have made the conversion from manual to power brakes on old GM A body cars many times, usually it involves changing he master cylinder to one with a smaller bore, and bolting on the brake booster. I’m guessing a square body would be the same.

I did eliminate the Hydro-Boost on my 81 GMC (originally diesel powered, now 455 Olds powered) years ago due to every hose leaking. I used a brake booster and master cylinder for the same year/model truck but gas powered. System bolted on easily, and has been working flawlessly probably 15 years now.
