I painted mine with Duplicolor fabric and vinyl paint. Desert Tan was the color.
Painted the steering wheel too, while I was at it. It does chip though, just have to touch it up every so often....

ask for the dye at the autodody supply - used it on a 79 oldsmobile - works awesome no chipping or adhesion to worry about -just wipe everything down with alcohol -and good to go !
Looks exellent!!No images of SEM trim black on a door panel but attached are a few shots of how it looks on the dash and visors. It looks better than in the photos (the flash makes it look faded - in person it's darker).
